Visioning/Planning Process
The community is looking for a consultant with sufficient experience to work quickly in a collaborative framework with members of the Visioning/Planning Task Force (a committe endorsed by both the Yellow Springs Village Council and the Miami Township Board of Trustees), civic, religious and non-profit organizations, government and educational groups and individual citizens of every age. Particular attention should be paid to strategies for engaging segments of the community that typically do not participate in community discussions. We expect our consultant will also provide information to the community regarding ecological, economic, design and social concerns to serve as a "reality check" for participants as well as to expand their sense of possibilities.
