Vision Care Volume Plan
The State of Maine is soliciting sealed bids from responsible vendors for the provision of all eyeglasses (lenses, frames, associated parts, and cases) for the MaineCare Program (including the State Childrens Health Insurance Program), and the Medical Eye Care Program. The Vision Care Volume Purchase Plan (VCVPP) contract will be for a term of one (1) year commencing on or about 12:0 1 a.m. EST on February 1, 2010 and terminating at 12:0 1 a.m. EST on January 31, 2012. There will be an option for three (3) one-year extensions to be exercised by mutual agreement of the contracting parties, subject to required State approvals. The successful vendor will be awarded a contract for work performed pursuant to this RFP.
