Virtual Server Activity Based Costing Study
The Information Technology Shared Services (ITSS) organization of the University is seeking an Activity Based Costing study of a portion of its operations. ITSS operates from revenue derived from an annual cost allocation process. ITSS operates a large Virtual Server Service (similar to Amazon Web Services) internal to the University System. ITSS wants to shift the cost allocation for the Virtual Server Service (VSS) to a monthly chargeback for resources utilized (again, much like Amazon Web Services). To that end, ITSS needs to know the actual cost of the various forms of VSS being offered to customers today. Consultant shall recommend chargeback tools ITSS may acquire to implement the chargeback for Virtual Servers.
