Village Safe Water Payroll Services
The Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Water, Village Safe Water (VSW) Program is acting as the representative for all communities with projects that are funded and/or administered by the VSW program. On their behalf, VSW is soliciting proposals for payroll services. The Contractor who is awarded the work will perform the payroll services outlined in this RFP for all labor on force account construction projects. See RFP Section 5, Scope of Work for a detailed explanation of the required services.
The length of the contract will be from the date of award, approximately January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2010, with four (4) one year renewal options issued at the sole discretion of the state. The Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Water, VSW program, estimates a total budget not to exceed $450,000.
Proposals are due in a sealed envelope to the procurement officer by 3:00 pm Alaska time, on October 14, 2009. NOTE: Please be advised that courier services (ie FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc) do not provide overnight delivery service in Juneau, Alaska. Please allow sufficient time for your proposal to be received by the due date. Late proposals will be returned unopened to the sender no exceptions.
Questions Received Prior to Opening of Proposals (RFP Section 1.08)
All questions must be in writing and directed to the issuing office, addressed to the Procurement Officer. The interested party must confirm telephone conversations in writing. Two types of questions generally arise. One may be answered by directing the questioner to a specific section of the RFP. These questions may be answered over the telephone. Other questions may be more complex and may require a written amendment to the RFP. The Procurement Officer will make that decision.
