Village Building Convergence 2009
Last year, the Village Building Convergence worked with neighbors on 18 projects in Portland neighborhoods. Take a look at the lengthy list of accomplishments. If you're interested in partnering with VBC to launch a shared public space or eco-oriented project, they have issued a request for proposaldue January 29. Download the RFP packet. This packet offers information about the event and how you and your neighborhood can be involved. It is a statement of interest to read over with your group and fill out as you see fit. Upon receiving all of the Statement of Interest questionnaires and conducting on-site interviews, participants will be converging together on a weekly basis at the City Repair Headquarters. These Placemaking meetings are intended to provide an ongoing forum for support in which they can help assist your group in the design process, facilitation, coordination, logistical, and funding assistance.
