Video Services for University Homepage
MANDAOTRY PRE-PROPOSAL CONFERENCE ON 07/14/2009.
The University is soliciting proposals from interested vendors for a vendor to provide video services for External Relations.
The intended coverage of this RFP, and any
Agreement resulting from this solicitation shall be for the use of all Departments at
the University.
The University seeks to hire an independent video production firm to produce short (1 3 minute) videos for the web site. These short videos will feature
various aspects of the University as determined by Marketing. They may involve two to
three locations and interviews per video. The video firm that is selected will have input on
the creative direction, story development and all visual aspects of the spot.
Specifically, the video firm will be required to:
Assist with creative direction.
Scout locations.
Coach talent if necessary.
Manage all the video shooting, including hiring outside vendors (lighting or
sound) as appropriate.
Final edits including music mixing, etc.
The finished videos will become the property of UA External Relations to use in other
formats as the University sees fit.
