Veterans Home Skilled Care Facility

The project would construct a 72 bed skilled care facility to primarily serve the long-term care needs of veterans and their eligible dependents from northwest Wisconsin. The facility will consist of four skilled nursing households and shared household spaces (e.g., nursing stations, dining areas, meeting spaces and medication/storage rooms); a central member center that includes chapel, library, theater, storage and other shared resident service areas; administrative spaces to house the business offices; and support spaces (food service, mechanicals, communications/data room, and supply rooms). The facility is to be located on the campus of the Northern Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled.
