Notice: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. Requirement: We are conducting market research to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements to provide full service maintenance of two Vestas V47 660 kilowatt wind turbine generators (WTG's) at F. E. Warren AFB, WY. The Vestas V47 turbines are located atop 50 meter (164') high tubular towers. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, personnel, equipment, vehicles, transportation, tools and services necessary to perform work as outlined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Also, the contractor shall provide annual blade inspections for the two WTGs. The objective of the PWS is to provide routine maintenance for the Vestas turbines in the F. E. Warren Wind Farm. Major components are NOT considered routine maintenance, for example, but not limited to, replacement of: blade, gearbox, generator, blade bearing, yaw bearing, SF6 high voltage disconnects switch or converter, these items will be replaced under a separate contract if necessary.
