Boat and all components must be manufactured in USA. Minimum of 95% US made. 5 years warranty for hull and component parts. V1 model carries a 10 year warranty on the hull. Eight oared and four oared shells available in "size specific" hull sizes with separate and distinct weight classes for crews averaging 155 to 180 lbs. Eight and cox four hull designs are protected under the US Copyright Office Vessel Hull Design Registration. All hulls and models meet or exceed FISA minimum safety flotation standard. Wetted surface of eight oared shells is 87.3 to 93.5 sq ft with crew average of 150 to 175 lbs. V1 model made from 250 degree cure, pre-impregnated, intermediate modulus, uni-directional carbon fiber with a non-metallic (Nomex) honeycomb core. V1 model includes additional carbon fiber [RHINO SKIN] adding increased stiffness and unmatched impact resistance. Bonding of all internal components with Methacrylate adhesives. The rigged weight of the eight oar shells are at or no more than 2.5% less than those mandated by FISA and NCAA competitions. All logos on the boat meet NCAA requirements, including proper lettering for the University of Alabama. All hulls are equipped with "wave deflecting" carbon fiber flange with a minimum width of 1 inch. Hull finish is US Paint's Awlgrip linear polyurethane enamel or equivalent. Rigging is standard wing construction; constructed of anodized aluminum and outfitted with quick change snap-on height adjusting washers.Riggers are 100% US made to ensure timely replacement due to accidental damage. Footstretchers are made of carbon fiber and have adjustability for angle and shoe height. Attachment hardware for adjustments utilize a 'quick-release' mechanism. Seats are carbon fiber and have single action undercarriage with stainless steel wheel bearings. Seat tops and footboards are carbon fiber and resin injected transfer molded. All metal components and fasteners are 316 grade stainless, anodic hardcoated aluminum or anodized aluminum. Spare parts ordering is available on-line, 24/7 and able to ship overnight. Manufacturer provides all peripheral support items including, but not limited to, electronics, oars, slings, shell covers, and shell trailers. Manufacturer provides on-site support at all major multi-school events.
