This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.601(b), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitues the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solitication will not be issued.
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-74.
This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation IAW FAR Part 12 and 13. Submit written quotes in reference to Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation number FA4621-14-T-0010.
In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(c), this is a Brand Name requirement.
McConnell AFB, KS plans to acquire the following supplies:
Vertical Storage Units
The following is a description of the proposed contract line items (CLINs) as dictated in the attached request for quote:
Line Item 0001: Vertical Storage Units
The contractor shall provide all necessary supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and manpower to install two (2) Vertical Storage Units. In accordance with the attached Justification and Approval, only Modula ML25-5700 and Vidmar ML-25 Tower XL VLM units are authorized. All work shall be completed In accordance with the Statement of Work, dated 7 May 2014

Price Information: Vendor must complete the attached request for quote.
Evaluation of Quotes:
Award will be made to the responsive offeror determined to be the most advantangeous to the government in accordance with the criteria listed in the attached request for quote.
General Information: Awardee will be required to invoice through Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Award can only be made to contractors registered in System for Award Managment (http://www.SAM.gov).

- In accordance with FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds (Apr 1984), funds are not presently available for this line item. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
