Ventilator Contract - VISN-22

This is a pre-solicitation notice only.
The purpose of this notice is to announce that the Government intends to procure supplies and services under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, for Ventilator Equipment, Supplies and Services for the VA San Diego, VA Greater Los Angeles, VA Loma Linda, VA Southern Nevada and VA Long Beach Healthcare Systems.
The contractor is required to provide Ventilator Equipment, Supplies and Services on a scheduled basis per solicitation requirements and schedule.
The impending solicitation, VA262-14-R-1380, replaces solicitation VA262-14-R-0171 which was canceled. This new solicitation provides an updated schedule to clarify requirements, and changes the requirement for a Registered Respiratory Therapist to a requirement for a Licensed Respiratory Therapist.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.
The solicitation will be a Partial Small Business Set-Aside. The contract shall be a base contract plus four one year option years.
The solicitation will be issued on or about August 30, 2014 on Fedbizopps.gov, reference solicitation number VA262-14-R-1380. NAICS number is 532291 Size Standard is $30 Million.
