Vehicle Exhaust Venting
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912TF-18-T-5013, and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), unless otherwise indicated herein. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-99. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333413- Industrial and Commercial Fan and Blower and Air Purification Equipment Manufacturing(Size Standard of 500 Employee). This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business, and only qualified vendors may submit quotes. The solicitation will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2 August 2018 1:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Free On Board (FOB) Destination shall be 302 Newmarket Street, Newington, NH 03803. The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract.
The NH National Guard requires the following items:
CLIN 0001: Brand Name or Equal: Six (6) Each, Plymovent MHR-1050 Hose Reel with 6" diameter x 41 feet long hose rated at 560º F for Heavy Equipment Area. This hose reel function is a motorized type to lower the necessary hose length or retract the hose. The direct drive planetary gear motor is asynchronous, totally enclosed and operates at 14 RPM using 120 volts, single phase power at 1.7 AMPS. The motor is controlled by a remote mounted spring rocker switch marked "UP" and "DOWN". The remote switch assembly is to be mounted to the wall or column and field wired to the hose reel motor. The hose reel is constructed of 11 gauge steel side mounting plates supported by steel channels. The hose reel drum is 41.3" wide galvanized steel rolled into an 18" diameter and supported by bearings that allow easy rotation of the drum. The hose reel drum is supplied with a hose tracking bar to guide the hose during the recoiling function. A safety disconnect assembly is incorporated to separate the lower nozzle section from the upper hose assembly in the unlikely event of the exhaust nozzle becomes entangled in the wheels or the under carriage of the vehicle. The hose reel is protected with a polyester powder coating finish to resist corrosion. The nozzle is a spring clamp type.

CLIN 0005: Installation and Ductwork. Installation includes removal of existing hose reels and installation of the hose reels to existing structure. Ductwork installation covers the fittings and assembly of the ductwork system to connect the hose drops to the exhaust blower. All connections are screwed in place and sealed. All round ductwork is industrial grade galvanized steel spiral type. It is tapered to insure proper air volume without the use of dampers for each grabber nozzle. All taper laterals, elbows and fittings are welded galvanized steel. All joints are sealed with a double lipped EPDM rubber seal type conforming to SMACNA's Leakage Class 3, or a positive air tight mechanical clamp to prevent leaks of apparatus exhaust fumes. Ductwork is SMACNA Industrial Duct Construction to prevent deflection under use.
CLIN 0006: Electrical Installation. Wiring to existing facility electrical system.

Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. If the Government responses to technical questions affect the requirements or any other portion of the solicitation, then an Amendment of Solicitation will be issued.

Quote must be good for 60 calendar days after close of the solicitation.
Shipping must be FOB destination CONUS (Continental U.S.), which means that the seller must deliver the goods on its conveyance at the destination specified by the buyer, and the seller is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss prior to actual delivery at the specified destination.
This solicitation requires registration with the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be considered for award, pursuant to applicable regulations and guidelines. Registration information can be found at www.sam.gov. Registration must be "ACTIVE" at the time of award.
This effort is a high priority requirement in support of the National Guard. Funds are not presently available to make award. If funds become available for award, and prices are deemed fair and reasonable, it is the Governments intent to make award. This is not a commitment of funds or contract award.
