VOICE RADIO INTEROPERABILITY SOLUTION
VCOMM, under Executive Order of the Governor of Vermont, has a mission to assess the State?s overall interoperable communication capability, policies and needs; to advise on strategies to create an interoperable accessible radio system for police, fire, and emergency services responders that link local, state, and federal agencies in Vermont as well as international and regional agencies in Canada and our neighboring states; to meet Federal mandates. VCOMM invites you to respond to this Request for Proposal relative to the deployment of an agency-owned wireless network solution(s) in support of mobile radio V-CALL/ U-CALL and V-TAC/U-TAC frequencies. The network will operate in analog but be capable of transitioning to digital interoperable voice communications for mutual aid among local, county, state governmental and quasi-governmental, and federal publicsafety agencies operating within, and adjacent to, the state of Vermont. The system shall include gateways to all key public safety agencies and departments within Vermont and adjacent states and provinces.
