The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCC Terre Haute, In, is issuing combined synopsis solicitation 15B41819QUG340013 for the provision of Vocational Training Welding Program. The services will be provided to individuals who are under the custody and care of the Federal Bureau of Prisons within a secure correctional environment, located at the Federal Prison Terre Haute, In. The contract type is a requirements contract with firm-fixed unit price. The award will be made to the responsible vendor or individual who submits the lowest quote to the Government based on lowest price technically acceptable and best value. The base contract period will be from months October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 with 4 additional option years. Please see the attached statement of work for exact details and qualifications. The combined synopsis solicitation will be available on August 14, 2019 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on September 4, 2019. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government are advised that this solicitation includes the clause FAR 52.212-5 (Apr 2005) for Commercial Items and System for Award Management (SAM). This clause requires all contractors doing business with the federal government after September 30, 2003, to be registered in the SAM database at www.sam.gov. Contractors should include their Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number in their offers. The Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award by entering the potential awardees DUNS number into the SAM database. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 611210. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition regulation 36.204 the estimated magnitude of this acquisition is between $100,000 and $250,000.00
