VNA and VNA Funnel Assembly
The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to issue an award on a Sole Source basis with The Boeing Company, St. Louis MO for a quantity (1) of P/N: D0090141-201 Vector Network Analyzer (VNA); and quantity of (1) P/N: D0031151-1001 VNA Funnel Assembly. The VNA and VNA Funnel Assembly are components of the RF High Speed Ancillary Set and utilized to support EA-18G I-level maintenance requirements. The VNA and VNA Funnel Assembly perform intermediate-level testing of the AEA suite of Weapon Replaceable Assemblies for the EA-18G aircraft. The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1.
The Boeing Company is the only supplier and is the original design authority, developer and manufacturer of the VNA and VNA Funnel Assembly and the only known source that can provide these required items. THE GOVERNMENT DOES NOT POSSESS THE TECHNICAL DATA PACKAGE TO ALLOW FOR A COMPETITIVE PROCUREMENT.
All responsible sources may submit a response which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice.
