This is a SAQR for the subject project to be awarded pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 and the specific requirements outlined in this request with attachments. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with (IAW) the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Headquarters Air Mobility Command’s Directorate of Communications (HQ AMC/A6) requires Brand Name Only (BNO) VMware Subscriptions 21 vSphere6 Enterprise compatible processors, seven vCenter Server 6 Standard Compatible processors, three Site Recovery Manager 8 Enterprise compatible processors, and 21 NSX Data Center Enterprise Plus compatible processors at the following locations: Scott Air Force Base (AFB), Illinois, McConnell AFB, Kansas, Hickam AFB, Hawaii, and Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Interoperability between VMware software solutions is based on the software supporting dozens of existing virtual machines and clusters that are running across the HQ AMC/A6 network. Software obtained through channels other than VMware may void support from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Delivery shall be made on the date of award (01 Oct 19). There will be four option years for this requirement with Option Year 1 delivery date of (01 Oct 20), Option Year 2 delivery date of (01 Oct 21), Option Year 3 delivery date of (01 Oct 22), and Option Year 4 delivery date of (01 Oct 23).
