VM Ware Server Virtualization
seeking a highly qualified consultant with significant, proven experience in the assessment, planning and build out of a comprehensive virtualization infrastructures for Valley Medical Center's data center, utilizing VMware's vSphere Version 4 (including vCenter, vMotion, and Site Recovery Manager).
As part of the planning and build-out, the selected consultant will work with SCVHHS to develop a virtualization management strategy founded on the needs of a large enterprise including the ability to delegate system administration authority for discrete systems, high reliability and uptime, and simplified management/deployment. Offeror's proposed solution must work and comply with federal, state and county mandated compliance and regulatory directives.
Knowledge transfer will occur throughout all phases (assessment, planning, build and management), and shall include both written documentation and hands-on training. The selected service provider will be expected to work collaboratively with HHS IS staff.
