As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. VLF Hi-POt (minimum requirements)

- Microprocessor Controlled with programmable test sequences and manual control.
- solid state design
- Provide a seamless wireless connection between Hi-pot and Tan Delta Transducer or Bridge.
- Capable of testing cables to a range of 0-20kVac rms Sinusoidal
- Capable of providing in the range of 28kV to 34kV Peak at DC
- Capable of providing at least 28kV square waves and Sheath Tester
- Operate at test frequences from 0.01Hz to 0.1Hz
- Load ranges for cable lengths to 10,000 ft. Minl, .5uf @ .1Hz, 5.0uf @.01Hz
- Capable of providing metering at peak or RMS Voltages (kV) and Currents (mA)
- Capable of storing test records in non-volatile memory or via USB Port
- Provide PC interface via USB, Wireless, and RS 232/422
- Meet the following cable testing standards: IEEE 400.2-2004, IEEE 400-2001, IEC 60060-3, VDE DIN 0276-620/621, CDNLEC HD 620/621
- POrtable, light weight, <50lbs
- Made in USA

Tan Delta Transducer Bridge (if required by manufacturer)
- Voltage Measurement Range 1-34kV Peak
- Current Measurement Range 0-15mA rms with accuracy of 1% and 1uA
- Load Range Frequency, .1Hz-0.01Hz with accuracy of .0001
- Wireless communications up to 30 meters
