The Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 20 in Dupont, Washington is soliciting proposals for contractors to provide Community Nursing Home Services (CNH) for Veterans in the Veterans Integrated Services Network 20 (VISN20) region, encompassing the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. Services shall be provided in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of the contract. Multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts are anticipated to be awarded on the basis of actual or probable need as determined by local VA facilities. In order to qualify, interested nursing home facilities must be in compliance with the eligibility requirements of VHA Handbook 1143.2. The anticipated Period of Performance for an awarded IDIQ will be for five (5) consecutive years with no option periods. This solicitation will result in firm fixed-price contracts with the possibility of annual Economic Price Adjustments based on updates to the published State Medicare/Medicaid rates.
