VISN 7 Virtual Pharmacists/Pharmacy Services
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Southeast Network VISN 7, intends to solicit proposals for Virtual Pharmacists/Pharmacy Services for its beneficiaries. The contractor shall complete outpatient mail prescriptions from medical centers within VISN 7 and its remote clinic sites. Contracted pharmacists shall verify prescriptions and send them electronically to the mail-out facilities in Charleston, SC and Murfreesboro, TN. Prescriptions shall be verified Sunday through Saturday with emphasis on after hours (after 5:00 pm on week days) and weekends , to include holidays. The contractor shall meet al licensing/certification requirements in accordance with the Performance Work Statement and resultant contract.
The period of performance will be for one year after date of award.
The applicable NAICS Code is 621399 - Offices of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners, with a size standard of $7M. This acquisition is totally set-aside for small business.
The solicitation shall be issued on/about May 20, 2014.
