This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for market research purposes only to determine the availability of potential businesses with capabilities to provide the service described below.

Potential offerors are invited to provide feedback via e-mail to Ms. Tracey Linna at tracey.linna@va.gov. All responses will be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy for a potential future acquisition.

Description of Services:
The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and supervision to provide VHA Cancer Registry reporting in accordance with all applicable national standards for the following Veterans Integrated Service Network 20 (VISN20) facilities:

Alaska VA Healthcare System and Regional Office (463)
Portland VA Medical Center (648)
Boise VA Medical Center (531)
VA Puget Sound Healthcare System (663)
VA Roseburg Healthcare System (653)
Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center at Spokane (668)
Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center at Walla Walla (687)

The Contractor responsibilities shall include: (a) records maintenance, including completion of abstraction; (b) case abstracting and coding; (c) computer data entry of all cases; (d) meeting reporting requirements of statewide cancer registry and other regulatory agencies as required; (e) maintaining credentials through the National Cancer Registrar's Association; (f) maintaining a cancer database that can be used to evaluate the efficiency of cancer therapy in the region as well as provide a base for epidemiological studies; and (g) maintaining patient and records confidentiality in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, complying with the terms of VA computer access security agreement, and other applicable government regulations.

The NAICS code assigned is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services and the small business size standard is $15 million.

The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources sought notice to gain knowledge of potential Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) Concerns who are capable and qualified to perform services.

Potential contractors shall provide, at a minimum, the following information to: tracey.linna@va.gov
1) Name, address, point of contact name, phone number, and e-mail address.
2) Interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued.
3) DUNS number, type of small business and Business Size.
4) Brief capability statement with enough information to determine if the company can meet the requirement. The Capabilities Statement for this sources sought is not expected to be a Request for Proposal or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach, but rather short statement regarding the company's ability to provide the service above. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities statement. Submission of capabilities statement will assist our office in
tailoring the requirement to be consistent with industry standards.

5) Verification your company is registered in VetBiz and is certified SDVOSB or VOSB. This is a mandatory certification requirement if your company is claiming SDVOSB or VOSB status.

Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
