Request For Information (RFI)/Sources Sought
The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest and the resources to support this requirement to build 322 Dual Use Vehicle (DUV) Kits. The items (see attachment 1) which make up each kit would be purchased, assembled, and shipped to approximately 120 locations (see attachment 2) throughout the U.S. The items for the kits are used by DUV operators and on-board clinicians (1) if required during routine passenger and/patient transfer, and (2) to reduce the time required to configure DUVs for patient movements during emergencies or disasters.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339112.

THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request is for capability information and does not constitute a request for quote (RFQ) or request for proposal (RFP). Submission of any information in response to this market survey is voluntary. The government will not be financially responsible for any costs incurred.
All Interested parties who consider their company qualified to meet the above requirements are invited to submit a response to this RFI/Sources Sought Notice no later than December 9, 2014. The parties will receive an electronic confirmation acknowledging receipt of response.
