The Department of Veterans Affairs Network 23 Contracting Office (NCO 23), on behalf of The US Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System of Saint Cloud, MN, hereinafter referred to as VA-STC located at 4801 Veterans Drive, Saint Cloud, MN 56303-2015, contemplates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) in order to award a single, firm fixed-price contract for specialized Veteran transportation services. The performance period will be from time of contract award through end of the 1-year base period, currently estimated to be 4/1/2019 3/31/2020. There will also be a potential 4 Option Years offered for this contract. The solicitation and any subsequent award will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 13, and relevant sections of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulation (VAAR).
The applicable NAICS Code is: 485991 SPECIAL NEEDS TRANSPORTATION. The small business size standard is $15.0 million.
This requirement is a 100% FULL & OPEN competition. All qualified offerors are invited to provide their proposal. The Contractor shall provide all labor, supplies, equipment, uniforms, supervision, vehicles, and training in accordance with the RFQ statement of work.
The tentative issue date for any actual solicitation will follow on/about January 3, 2019. The date is not firm and may change due to events out of our control. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site, http://www.fedbizopps.gov, regularly to obtain possible amendments. All parties must obtain all notices and amendments to the solicitation through this web site. Hard copies will not be mailed. Proposals must be submitted in accordance with the proposal instructions outlined in the solicitation. Proposals will be due not less than 10 days after the issuance of any solicitation.
