Virginia Sea Grant (VASG) is a scientific broker, supplying science-based information to
citizens, businesses, educators, resource managers, and policy makers to address resilience and
sustainability in coastal and marine ecosystems and the communities that depend upon them.
VASG funds impactful science aimed at solving important societal problems, with clear links
between project results and problem solutions, in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the region, and
the nation.
