Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC-CD) Crane Division located in Crane, IN anticipates awarding a contract for a Variable Pressure Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (VP FE-SEM) in accordance with NSWC Crane Specification.
The system requirements include the following: an Energy Dispersive X-ray Microanalysis (EDS) system; a fully focusing Wavelength Dispersive Spectrometer (WDS) system with 5 crystals, UPS battery backup for the entire system, Vibration Isolation Platform system and 3D Mapping Software.
This is a commercial procurement. The applicable NAICS Classification is 334516 and the small business size standard is 1000. Delivery is anticipated to be FOB Destination with inspection and acceptance at destination. Required delivery is 1 Mar 2019. Installation and training is required.
The proposed contract action will use written solicitation procedures in accordance with FAR part 13.5 for the anticipated award of this competitive commercial acquisition.

For changes made after the closing date, only those Offerors who provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
