VAPAHCS - Correct Facility Deficiencies Menlo Park Division & Mountain View Center
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to issue a competitive solicitation that is set-aside to verified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB)s, in accordance with VAAR 819.7006, VA Veteran-owned small business set-aside, to correct building deficiencies at two campuses in VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS): Menlo Park Division, 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025; and Mountain View Center, 1776 Old Middlefield Way, Mountain View, CA 94043.
All responsible SDVOSB sources who are verified in VA s VIP Vendor Information Pages (https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Default.aspx) at time of solicitation posting may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
Estimated solicitation posting date is May 27th, 2019; estimated closing date is June 27th, 2019.
The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be available at www.fbo.gov. Amendments to the solicitation will also be posted on this website. All parties must obtain solicitation documents and amendments to the solicitation through FBO. Hard copies will not be mailed. It is the responsibility of bidders to frequently check the website for all notices, amendment, etc., regarding this solicitation. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. The Government will not be responsible for any notification not sent or received by the bidder regarding the solicitation.
The solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 14-Sealed Bidding procedures.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a small business size standard of $36.5 Million.
In accordance with VAAR 836.204, the disclosure of the magnitude of this construction project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
In accordance with FAR Part 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. In accordance with FAR Part 5.203, this notice is being published for at least fifteen days before issuance of the solicitation.
All contractors are reminded that they must be registered in the SAM.gov database, https://sam.gov/SAM/ in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management.
