The National Park Service has a requirement to provide laboratory analyses of vegetation nutritional factors for the Valles Caldera National Preserve in Jemez Springs, NM.. The solicitation will be available on or about June 18, 2018 with a closing date for quotes due by July 9, 2018 at 3:00 pm MST. The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions are applicable to this acquisition. This acquisition is reserved for small business concerns. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must be registered in the SAM database. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make an offeror ineligible for award. The web site for SAM registration is www.sam.gov. All offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation from this website and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the solicitation. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipts of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.small business size standard will be $15mil. All interested small business concerns will provide this office the following: (1) A statement of positive intent to submit a proposal; (2) Company Name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email address and Duns Number; (3) Small Business status, to include 8a, HUBZone, SBD, SDVOSB, large / small business etc. Status of 8(a) or HUBzone contractors will be verified by the Small Business Administration (SBA); (4) A brief outline of resources that would be used to accomplish the requirement. In the event sufficient small business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this requirement, it will be advertised as unrestricted.
