VA797R-14-R-0030 ST. ALBANS LAUNDRY
The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the VA Medical Center in St. Albans, NY to interested sources to provide the following line items:
ITEM # 1
Continuous Wash/Extract System (CWES)
One (1) system, Continuous Wash/Extract System (CWES), shall be designed within the textile care processing facility. System shall include tunnel washer controls, tunnel washer, conveyors, shuttles, dryers, dryer take-away conveyors and dryer controls.
ITEM # 2
Thermal Fluid Flatwork Ironing Systems-quantity 3
Furnish and install three (3) each, color touch screen controls & information systems" that incorporate automatic/manual machine operation, self-testing, fault display and built-in diagnostics
ITEM # 3
Air Compressor and Air Refrigerated Dryer System:
Furnish and install new, one (1) minimum 50 HP rotary screw, air-cooled oil injected air compressor with tank and one (1) Air Refrigerated Air Dryer.
ITEM # 4
Small Piece Folders-quantity 4
Furnish and install four (4) each color touch screen controlled Small Piece Folders
This equipment is to be installed at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center in St. Albans, NY. This procurement will be advertised as a Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS code 333318 and Small Business Size Standard 1000 employees are applicable to determine business size standard.
