Utility Plant
Mandatory pre-bid meeting 02/25/2010.
Work shall include all labor, materials, and equipment required to provide a new Utility Plant building and to accommodate two new
1000 Ton electric centrifugal chiller systems complete with new chilled water and
condenser water pumps, new roof-mounted cooling towers, new chemical feed and
filtration systems, new 5kV (future) and 480V electrical services, and plumbing
and HVAC upgrades. All work shall be in accordance with these specifications
and accompanying drawings.
The Plant shall provide the chilled water generation Infrastructure for a full
build-out of 10,000 tons capacity and shall also provide heating hot water
generation from available high pressure steam service.
Contractor shall note that work includes all requisite building construction, sitework,
utilities, ductwork, controls and piping, wiring, equipment and all appurtenances
necessary for a complete operating system for each unit involved.
