User Oriented Transit Plan

The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) is pleased to invite your firm to submit a proposal to support development of the User Oriented Transit Planning Project for Santa Cruz County. The User Oriented Transit Planning Project will be an individualized marketing program to encourage solo-drivers to switch to transit, bicycling, walking or carpooling. The project is designed to find out which messages, materials, and support services resonate most strongly with Santa Cruz County travelers and inform individuals about the travel choices in their neighborhood. Consultant services are sought to support development of the User Oriented Transit Planning Project by way of advising the RTC in the project design to ensure consistency with industry standards and to complete an analysis of project effectiveness.
Responses should be submitted in accordance with the instructions set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The RFP is available on the RTC website at the following link (http://www.sccrtc.org/about/opportunities/rfp/).
Interested firms must submit copies of the proposal to the Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission, Attention: Grace Blakeslee, 1523 Pacific Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95060 by 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2016. A proposers' conference will be held on Friday, April 22, 2016 at
10:00 a.m. in the RTC Conference Room, 1523 Pacific Ave., Santa Cruz. RSVP to: info@sccrtc.org by April 19th, 4:00 p.m. Participation will also be available by conference call. A contract for services is scheduled to be awarded in June 2016.
