Urgent Notification Communication Services
The purpose and intent of this request for proposal (RFP) is to obtain an affordable, off-the-shelf, web-based urgent notification application service provider (vendor hosted) for an automated calling, e-mail and/or text delivery solution for the Public Schools district. The goal of this system is to provide a solution for the districts central administrations departments and schools with the minimum ability to deliver recorded voice and e-mail/text messages to parents and employees. Automated calling and e-mailing is currently in use throughout the district and has already proven to be successful in Norfolk Public Schools. Current uses include delivering recorded phone calls to parents of absentee students and delivering both recorded calls and emails to parents and employees for a variety of purposes, including emergency notifications.
