Urban Technology Innovation Center
The Corporation intends to issue a request for proposals (RFP) for the creation and maintenance of a NYC building technology innovation center, seeking responses from capable academic or non-profit institutions. The purpose of this RFP is to promote economic development in NYC by fostering a building technology cluster in NYC around the Centers work and resulting business activity. Respondents will be expected to respond with viable operational plans for creating and maintaining a NYC building technology innovation center. The Corporation plans to select a host institution on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal; experience of key staff identified in the proposal; successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP; and the price proposal.
