Univ. of CT Health Center DataCenter Technical/Hardware Support
The University of Connecticut Health Center (UCHC) wishes to contract support for its Datacenter Computer Hardware including parts, services and maintenance for the term of 3 years with 2 optional 1 year extensions.
The winning bidder will be able to keep an accurate, up to date, quarterly inventory of our datacenter, troubleshoot, repair or replace various HP Proliant, VAX and Alpha servers, HP storage arrays, DEC printers and Backup devices. The winning bidder must be able to provide reports of what is under maintenance, level of maintenance and service history via their website. Additionally, via their inventory process the vendor will be able to offer sliding maintenance for hardware coming off of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) warranty agreements proactively engaging UCHC in determining what service levels would be required for agreement under this contract. There are approximately 400 pieces of equipment that are expected to be tracked under this contract.
