Unified Communications System
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract or contracts through competitive negotiations for a unified communications system for the University. The University seeks to create an information technology environment that enhances learning, discovery, and collaboration. Drivers for creating the environment include the need to facilitate pervasive computing, mobility, virtualization, high-performance computing, visualization, high-definition video, storage, collaboration, and content delivery. This RFP invites participation in the design and development of a unified communications system capable of supporting the vision for a 21st century information environment with next-generation capabilities to promote research competitiveness and enhance learning, emergency management, and public safety.
