Unarmed Security Services
The Louisiana School for the Deaf campus comprises 116 acres and 22 buildings. Contractor is to provide security services to Louisiana School for the Deaf faculty/staff/students and/or monitor activities in dormitories, academic and administrative buildings, and campus premises as requested in accordance with provisions set forth for a period of February 8, 2009 through May 22, 2009. Award to be made on an all-or-none basis. Services shall be bid by the hourly rate. This hourly rate is to be inclusive of all Contractor fees, including deployment, training, supervision, administrative, payroll, etc.
a.This service shall include, but not be limited to:
Monitors activities in dormitories, academic and administrative building, and campus premises
Ingress and egress control of campus
Performs patrols on campus
Monitors surveillance equipment in the Surveillance Control Center
Compiles written reports of activities and incidents
This contract shall provide for a minimum of two (2) officers to be on duty 24 hours per day from 6:00 pm on Sunday evenings through 4:00 pm on Friday afternoon each week. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, scheduled hours may be changed by the agency with a 24 hour advance notice. The LSD Security and Safety Director will determine specific work assignments per shift, although primary coverage will be in the Surveillance Control Center.
