USPSC - Senior Media Advisor
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) seeks an experienced media professional to provide advice and support as the Senior Media Advisor in USAID's Bureau for Europe and Eurasia, Technical Support Office (TSO). The Senior Media Advisor provides intellectual leadership and technical support pertinent to media development and freedom of expression across the Europe and Eurasia (EE) region, including the application of Information Communication Technologies (ICT) in these areas. The Senior Media Advisor plays a leading role in developing strategies relying on the strengthening of indigenous, independent and professional media to help counter disinformation and malign external influence in the region. The Senior Media Advisor supports USAID field missions in the design and implementation of media programming, advises policymakers, informs intra/inter-agency discussions, represents USAID to external audiences and maintains ongoing working relationships with internal and external media development experts and advocacy organizations.
