16. Description: THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for quote or proposal and no contract or purchase order will be awarded from this notice. USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) is tentatively scheduled for a Mid-Term Availability (MTA) beginning on 08 January 2020, with a performance period for 60 days. The place of performance will Pier Side, Norfolk Naval Base, VA.
17. The purpose of this notice is to inform all potential Offerors that Military Sealift Command (MSC) will be releasing a RFP on or about August 12, 2019.

c. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted and can be found on Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.FBO.GOV/) under solicitation number N32205-19-R-6505.
d. Technical data for the solicitation may be obtained by contractor submitting Attachment J-14 Technical Data Nondisclosure to the Contract Specialist after solicitation is posted.
e. Potential contractors will receive DVD's via FedEx once contract specialist has received contractor's Technical Data Nondisclosure.
