In accordance with FAR Part 5.101 (a)(2) this notice of solicitation is issued for PKISSO AREA Connector plug in for Remedy, along with implementation and annual support of the plug in, for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Office of Information Technology (OIT).


Part numbers and Quantity ordered are included in the attached Description of Requirement.


Period of Performance will be 12 months from the date of the award with no options.


Delivery will be to USCIS Office of Information Technology.


UISCIS intends to award to RightStar Inc., via a Sole Source Justification in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Only one source reasonably available.
Explanation: USCIS Remedy (production version 7.5) currently used by USCIS for IT Help Desk support does not have 2-factor authentication required by the Presidential Cyber Security Sprint Directive. The Right Star Plug-in is a custom developed plug-in proprietary to Right Star specifically for allowing 2-factor authentication through SAML or Kerberos authentication with legacy versions of Remedy. Right Star is the only vendor who offers this capability. The Right Star Plug-in has been tested in the USCIS Remedy staging environment and has demonstrated successful 2-factor authentication with our instance of Remedy 7.6.
