USCG Base Kodiak historic cultural resource management plan

This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue notice or award a contract.
The United States Coast Guard (USCG), Civil Engineering Unit (CEU) Juneau Detachment Seattle, is performing market research for an anticipated firm fixed price contract, for Historic Resources consultant support/resources management services at USCG Base Kodiak.
Anticipated contract information is as follows:
Anticipated contract amount: Not to exceed the simplified acquisition threshold
Contract Period: Notice to Proceed (NTP) to August 2014 (exact date TBD).
The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualified firms licensed to do business in the State of Alaska, relative to the North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) 712120 for historic and cultural preservation services. The Small Business size standard for this NAICS code is $7 million average annual revenue. To make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project, the Government may use responses to this sources sought synopsis. The type of notice issued and the manner of advertisement may depend on the responses to this Sources Sought synopsis.

If inadequate responses are received, this requirement may be issued via appropriate contracting vehicle as determined by the Contracting Officer.
