USAID/Malawi - Senior HIV Treatment Adviser
The Senior Treatment Advisor will: provide leadership and serve as the subject matter expert for USAID/Malawi’s HIV care and treatment portfolio; set strategic direction for the HIV care and treatment portfolio, including ART, Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT), pediatric ART, TB/HIV and clinical lab services; oversee management of all USAID HIV care and treatment implementing partners and related performance management to ensure achievement of results. In addition, the Senior Treatment Adviser will be expected to have a strong grasp of strategic information (SI) for HIV programming including strong capacity to utilize epidemiologic and program data to inform strategic direction, recommend programmatic shifts, and identify performance successes and challenges. The incumbent will support the USAID/Malawi and the USG Mission/Malawi in operational planning and monitoring of the HIV care and treatment portfolio and HIV clinical services across the cascade. The incumbent is also expected to play a leadership role in the interagency Technical Working Group (TWG) structures.
