This notice is not a solicitation. This announcement serves as a sources sought notice for a pressure scanner for the Air Force Academy.  This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 to determine if there is a pressure scanner that meet the specifications below and the Buy American Act at DFARS 225.225-7001.  All businesses capable of providing a pressure scanner are invited to respond.  Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary.  The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis.    

 

10 CONS/ PKC is seeking potential sources who manufacture pressure scanners that are Buy American compliant IAW DFARS 252.225-7001 are considered commercially off-the-shelf items (COTS).

 

The applicable NAICS Code is 334515.  The size standard is 750 employees. 

All items and components must be made and manufactured in accordance with DFARS 252-225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments Program.

 

U.S. Air Force Academy Pressure scanner Requirements:

 

32 channel expandable to 64 Channel miniature pressure module

Accuracy: 0.25 % Full Scale

Operating Temperature: -15°F to 175°F

Resolution: 16 bit

Scan Rate: > 200 samples/ second/channel

Communication: Ethernet High Speed Digital interface

Communication Protocol: TCP/IP

Overpressure Capacity: 2 times full scale

Software: software to setup unit and acquire data in addition to LabView drivers, (.net API desirable)

Delivery is FOB Destination to USAF Academy, CO 80840.

Interested businesses shall provide the following information:

2.     Business size status in relationship to the small business threshold of 750 employees and socio-economic status, e.g., 8(a), Woman Owned or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, small business, large business, etc.

3.     Answers to the following questions: (include questions below as applicable, otherwise delete. Add any questions specific to the acquisition not included below).

a.       Are you a manufacturer or supplier of the items?
b.       What is your lead-time for delivery for each item?
c.        What are your payment/discount terms?
d.       What are the term of your warranty?
