SPECIAL NOTICE - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI): The Government is issuing this RFI as part of a Market Questionnaire that applies to the US Army's Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift (LCRTF) 4,000-6,000 pound capacity at 24-inch load center. The objective of the Market Questionnaire is to better understand the availability and capabilities of commercial products and the potential of the associated equipment manufacturers. The information gathered by the Government through this Market Questionnaire, along with other market investigation data, is solely intended for the use by the Government and will not be shared amongst competing companies. Participation in this Market Questionnaire provides an important opportunity to influence the solicitation provision and contract clauses, budget requests, and a full range of other elements that support the acquisition strategy for the LCRTF project.
This RFI is published to obtain information for use by the Government, for market research and planning purposes only; and is not a Request for Proposal, Invitation for Bid, or an announcement of a solicitation. There is no bid package or solicitation document associated with this announcement. Response to this RFI is strictly voluntary and will not affect any potential offeror's ability to submit an offer if a solicitation is released. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of preparing submissions in response to this RFI and the Government's use of such information.
09 DEC 14: Revised LCRTF Market Questionnaire
The following revisions have been made to the LCRTF Market Questionnaire:
1) Page 4 - The description of the Market Questionnaire (appears in second table, shaded row) has changed from the Dual Cone Penetrometer (DCP) to the Light Capability Rough Terrain Forklift (LCRTF).
2) Page 4 - Item #'s (appears in second table, first column) have been corrected to eliminate duplicate numbers. There are now 77 - Item #'s instead of 62 Item #'s.
