US 33 Bypass Revegetation on Wayne NF

Scope of Contract
Furnish all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to repair and revegetate eroded roadside areas and fill slopes at the Butterfly Bridge location on US-33. This work includes site preparation, including grading, construction of rock channels, application of agricultural lime and/or topsoil, installation of straw wattles, and hydroseeding activities, including application of soil amendments, Government provided seed, and flexible growth medium. Work also includes traffic control as required for safe operations and erosion control as required to protect water quality.  Work is expected to be done during September and October 2017.  There are bonding requirements for this construction project.   

Project Location
The project is located on the Wayne National Forest approximately 7 miles west of Nelsonville OH, Athens County. From Nelsonville, travel approximately 7 miles west on US-33 to the Butterfly Bridge location. There is a pullout and locked gate that access the site.


The Government's estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000.

Offerors must be registerd in www.sam.gov in order to submit an offer.  Obtaining a DUNS and registering in SAM are free. 

Solicitation materials inlcuding specifications, drawings, maps, wage determination will be uploaded to this site on or about March 20, 2017.  There will be an organized site visit on March 30, 2017 at 10 AM ET at the site.  Details will be in the solicitation materials.  This solicitation is a total small business set aside.
