The Portland Area Indian Health Service intends to negotiate and award a non-competitive Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) firm-fixed price contract with the Seattle Indian Health Board (SIHB), Seattle, Washington in accordance with P.L. 94-437 Title V of the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, as amended. Title V allows for new contracts, contract renewals and the replacement contract requiring non-competitive awards for provision and continuation of Urban Indian Health Programs.
The services are for a health care system with limited direct services (outpatient clinic, mental health and pharmacy services) that supports an extensive outreach and referral, and health education programs to the eligible American Indian/Alaskan Native (AI/AN) population residing within the Seattle, Washington metropolitan area. It is anticipated that this project will be ongoing and funding will be continued for subsequent years.

The period of performance will be January 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020, with an option to extend the contract for four (4) one-year periods.
