This is a Sources Sought Notice (Market Research)/Presolicitation and not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proprosal (RFP).  This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied, or otherwise to issue a solicitation or award contract.

The 413th Contracting Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office, Hawaii (RCO-HI) is performing market research for this follow-on requirement for Directorate of Public Work (DPW) - Housing.

The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price (FFP), requirements-type service contract for base plus four option periods. 

The purpose of this notice is to determine interest and capability of potential offerors with North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 811412, size standard  $15.0M.

The Performance Work Statement:  The contractor shall provide all personnel, management, tools, supplies, equipment, and parts to respond to service orders received from the UPH and Furnishings Management Offices (FMO) for Government owned appliances in 48 barracks at all U.S. Army installations on the island of Oahu (Fort Shafter, Helemano Military Reservation, Schofield Barracks, Tripler Army Medical Center and Wheeler Army Airfield).  Barracks may be multistory units with no elevator.  The contractor shall transport appliances between the barracks and the Furnishings Management Office (FMO).  Work consists of an assessment of the appliance, repair, request to order parts when needed, request to cannibalize parts from a non-repairable appliance, request to remove an appliance when needed, transportation of the old appliance to the warehouse, pick-up of a new appliance from the warehouse, proper installation of an appliance and submittal of a barracks manager signed completed service order to FMO.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENT:

1-Your intent to submit a quote/proposal when it is formally advertised;

2-Name of firm with address, point of contact name, telephone number, and email address;

3-Cage Code and DUNs Number;

4-Size of firm including category of small business (such as 8(a), WOSB, HubZone, or SDVOSB);

5-Statement of Capability stating your skills, experience, and knowledge required to perform the specified type of work.

Respond by 1/24/2019 at 10am HST. 

The issuance of the solicitation is estimated on or about 1/28/2019.  Quote/Proposal due date will be specified in the solicitation and may be earlier or later than 3/18/2019.
