PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR: Project 695-16-108: Upgrade W Panels at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, 5000 W. National Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53295. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small Business (SDVOSBs).
Contractor shall furnish project management, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision that construction documents, drawings, and specifications required to complete Project 695-16-108, Upgrade W Panels, at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center, Milwaukee WI. Replace selected electrical panels, transformers, and related equipment for building 111 VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Provide labor, materials, and equipment for complete working electrical distribution systems. Work includes electrical, architectural, and limited sprinkler construction modifications, as specified. Studies: circuit breaker coordination and arc flash; limited sprinkler modifications; testing; documentation: labeling, updates to panel schedules, submittals, and record documents and O&M manuals. Work to be completed within 365 calendar days after Notice to Proceed.
The solicitation, specifications and drawings will be posted on FedBizOps. There will be a pre-bid site visit held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-bid site conference will be included in the solicitation package.
The solicitation for this project will be issued on/or about 5 April 2017 with the bid opening on/about 5 May 2017. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOps which may be issued to this solicitation.
The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000.00 - $5,000,000.00
The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 423610; size standard $15.0 Million applies.
In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms. The SDVOSB must be registered with and verified by the Center for Veterans Enterprise http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov (CVE) prior to submission of an offer, and verified in the following websites: http://ccr.gov, and http://orca.bpn.gov to be eligible for award.
This Pre-Solicitation notice is NOT a request for proposals or submittals of any kind. The VA plans to issue the official solicitation VA69D-17-B-0687 on or about 5 April 2017. The solicitation will be posted to https://www.fbo.gov .
