This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about May 10, 2017, to Upgrade Domestic Water, B-24 at the Bath VA Medical Center., Project No. 528A6-17-610. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, tools, and supervision necessary to remove and replace the domestic water supply piping in building 24 located at the VA Medical Center in Bath, New York. Unless otherwise directed by the COR, work shall be performed in accordance with construction drawings and specifications and other standards and regulations as detailed or specified. The General Contractor shall be responsible for removing the existing piping, valves, insulation and hangers. Removals shall include the dead legs as shown on the construction drawings. All removed piping will be turned over to the VA for their recycling program. The G.C. shall then install new piping, valves, hangers and insulation per the drawings and specifications. This contract shall include all other items as shown on the contract drawings and specifications not mentioned here. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses . The NAICS code is 238220. The small business standard is $15 M. The cost range is $250,000 to $500,000. Information regarding the one and only site visit scheduled will be stated in the Solicitation. A 20% Bid Bond must be submitted with the bid. Performance and Payment bonds will be required.
