This is a Request for Information this is not a Request for Quote. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified vendors with special interest. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 2, and the VA Medical Center in Montrose, NY anticipate a purchase order for the following: MFG Steris (brand name only) Ultrasonic Cleaner and Dryer

0001 01 each CR220RLGOV Caviwave Ultrasonic Console Cleaner and Dryer with Right to Left Workflow

0002 01 each Removal/Install Remove old cleaner ~ Install the new one

0003 01 each Trade In value for old cleaner

This procurement would be for new items only; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. FOB - destination

Interested vendors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 4.12, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications in conjunction with FAR 4.11 required registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award of a contract.

If the offeror is quoting/offering or equal items, the offeror must clearly identify the exact make, model, manufacturer and item description for each line item to be considered. Quotes/offerors that do not provide an adequate description of how the equal product meets the salient characteristics will not be considered.

Documentation that confirms the company is registered and is the required socio-economic category in the System for Award Management (SAM). Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB) offerors must be verified by the Department of Veterans Affairs Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) at the time of submission of proposal. Failure to be verified will result in the offeror s proposal to be deemed non-responsive.
