Water industry: systems integration services for plant process control.
Lot 1:
Scope for the Major Works Capital Programmes OJEU notice:-.
The supplier shall provide System Integration services required to programme and configure water industry process control systems for United Utilities Plc to support its Monitoring, Control and Data Acquisition Standard for AMP5 Capital (Major) Programme in each of the following areas:
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems and associated equipment,
Profibus networks, intelligent devices and associated equipment,
Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and associated equipment,
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) workstations, associated equipment and software,
Programming of Intelligent Motor Starters (IMS),
Industrial network communication equipment,
Programming and diagnostic Tools,
Maintenance Tools,
Performance Tools.
Prospective suppliers shall have experience in the Siemens S7 range of equipment for all of the aforementioned items, additional knowledge of other PLC suppliers equipment required (please note Siemens S7 range is the current Kit Framework PLC range and this is currently under tender).
Experience of both Greenfield and Brownfield water industry solutions along with operational site and process knowledge required.
And the following service areas:
Training,
Field Service,
Technical Consultancy,
Framework Management.
System integration services shall not include any requirements for office and/or business related software/services.

Scope for the Minor Works Capital Programmes OJEU notice:-.
The supplier shall provide System Integration services required to programme and configure water industry process control systems for United Utilities Plc to support its Monitoring, Control and Data Acquisition Standard for AMP5 Capital (Minor works) programme and scheduled Maintenance in each of the following areas:
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems and associated equipment,
Profibus networks, intelligent devices and associated equipment,
Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and associated equipment,
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) workstations, associated equipment and software,
Programming of Intelligent Motor Starters (IMS),
Industrial network communication equipment,
Programming and diagnostic Tools,
Maintenance Tools,
Performance Tools.
