Transport services \(excl. Waste transport\). 'Ordnance Survey is the national mapping agency of Great Britain, responsible for the official, definitive topographic mapping of the country. The changing nature of the landscape is recorded in our databases, and from these we produce a wide range of products to meet our customers' needs and fulfil our national interest remit. Ordnance Survey has its headquarters in Southampton, currently accommodating circa 1000 staff members. Ordnance Survey is currently in the process of moving from its existing site to a new building approximately one mile away. Ordnance Survey invites service providers to register their interest in a contract for the provision of packing, transportation, unpacking and installation in situ of approximately 1 000 pedestals, 100 cabinets, 400 IT application servers, 250 desktop computing devices, laptops, printers, and plotters. Current plans are that Ordnance Survey will award a contract for this requirement to one service provider to cover a four month transition period commencing October 2010.
